About Chloe Hung

At EGGBOX TECH, we believe in illuminating the lives of children and the underprivileged in the world by giving back to the community however we can.

Our lovely and charismatic founder ( and our dearest sister ) is only 22, but is one of the most mature and responsible individual we know. She is always putting herself out there and constantly learning , constantly caring for others and has a heart of gold.

 She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in hydroscience and engineering at Tsinghua University , one of the most prestigious universities in China. She hopes that the network and resources gained from being in this industry will help her turn her vision into a reality .

Chloe believes that clean water should be accessible to all and has been helping to raise funds to build water tanks for rural areas in Laos and Philippines since 2019. Unfortunately, due to covid she was unable to go physically to Laos to build the water tanks. Together with Love Pal Club Singapore, they managed to raise $26000 sgd to build water tanks , facilities and donate supplies for schools in Philippines, Panganisan and Laos, Luang Prabang.  

Chloe has recently returned from a trip to Mai Chau, Vietnam, whereby she visited Tan Dan Kindergarten , Primary and Secondary School to help build water tanks and spread awareness on world water day alongside Gravity Water. Chloe has met with government officials from the educational department of Hoa Binh Province to discuss issues the children in Mai Chau are facing and ways to collaborate in the future. 

She believes that with the support of the community, she will be able to build more water tanks around the world and innovate ways to alleviate the world water crisis through collaboration and cooperation with those in this expertise.

She has represented her university at a regional Lancang - Mekong River Cooperation Discussion, alongside government officials, diplomats, professors, business owners and other scholars from South East Asia whereby she expressed her opinion on how students and Singaporeans are able to do their part in the hydro space . 

Chloe has also been volunteering since she was a child with Love Pal Club Singapore, where they frequently volunteer at the Singapore Red Cross Home For The Disabled (RCHD) or Willing Hearts Singapore. Every month, Love Pal Club will organise a birthday celebration for the residents staying there, and arrange activities to engage with the residents. They will also donate supplies monthly to RCHD. 

She frequently attends fundraising activities for organisations like SOSD ( Save Our Street Dogs Singapore). Chloe spent 1 year as a sales executive ( under Eden Cube Marketing Group) for Singapore Heart Foundation, where she raises funds for people suffering from heart conditions and diseases by standing on the streets and pitching to strangers about this cause every single day. She has faced thousands and thousands of rejections during this course but said that this experience made her a stronger woman. She has managed to raise tens of thousands of dollars for the organisation ( Singapore Heart Foundation ).

Chloe was selected by her classmates to spend two years as a community service representative in Saint Andrews' Junior College Singapore, where she organised and led her class in community service projects, like volunteering at old folks homes, doing house cleaning for low income elderly districts in Singapore and raising funds to donate to the underprivileged communities in Singapore. 

Fun facts : Chloe is in Tsinghua University's Golf Team , where she has been representing her school in competitions in Beijing. She is also a fierce athlete with years of experience in Muaythai and Soccer. She has done piano recitals in Germany and has achieved ABRSM Grade 8 certification with distinction in Piano. She is a certified meridian therapy speaker where she teaches her students guasha and simple preventive healthcare. She is also working on other business ideas as she has been very entrepreneurial since young! ✨
